What do you exactly mean by “Church of the Poor” ?? so that I will know what I will be praying for… The Church already has lots of services for the poor, don’t you have services for the poor in your area? I mean that the Church is in the same state as
Jerusalem of old in Nehemiah’s time, “her walls
are broken down and her gates are burned w/ fire”
See Neh. 1, she needs fine linen to cover her naked-
ness and gold(faith) refined in the fire,. See Rev. 3:18
Her poor has been treated w/ indifference, and she
has forgotten the place where, in God’s Word, it says
that God has made the poor to be RICH in faith and
to INHERIT the kingdom God has promised to those
who love Him. See James 2:5

I feel like a suitor who is being frustrated by a reluctant father
from courting his daughter!
Here’s the situ: I have a vision for a Church for the Poor in Canada,
and have spoken to the Associate priest at my parish,
however I am baffled that I CANNOT get a word edge-wise with
the Senior priest, who is having a lot of health concerns besides
having a super-busy schedule!
Please, I covet your prayers, that I may at least get a chance to
court THE CHURCH, my highest joy!(Ps 137), esp. at this time of
Lent!
