Mark your calendars for Friday, September 25th at 7:30 pm: Archbishop Brunett will be presiding from the Bishops chair at a High Mass, EF, for the feast of the North American Martyrs (at St. Alphonsus Church in Ballard). Three FSSP priests are flying in for the occasion to assist Fr. Gerard Saguto, FSSP. Special 150 yr. old vestments (rescued) from Belgium, are being restored by STMHE women/girls in the parish to be used at this Mass. This is not just a parish event but rather for anyone who would like to attend, especially those with a special devotion or affinity for these particular saints. There will be a potluck reception with the Archbishop (in the Family Center) to follow.

UPDATE I just received word from the folks at the North American Martyr’s parish that the Mass in Seattle on September 25 is going to be a Solemn High Mass not just a high Mass as I was originally told.
