FSSP Mission Trip for Traditionalists

A FSSP seminarian has organized a mission trip for young traditionalists to the Dominican Republic in June. They need help. If you would like to help this effort please click on the web site below. This is the first known overseas mission trip for traditionalists from the USA. They will teach tradition to the local Diocese and have a high mass in the cathedral. Lets help save the Dominican Republic and show how the Latin Mass really is universal and binds all races and languages together. The trip is June 18-28.

I’m not calling you old!! I’m giving you an idea that I use.

I’m thirty years old, and I’m too old for certain events. But because I volunteer at a youth group, I go to their events as adult supervision. My wife and I will probably be going to a Steubenville Conference next year doing just that. Win win for me; get to help the kids, plus go back to Steubenville.

It’s also like how I bought a nerf gun for my son. Sure he’s only one years old, but I can give it to him when he gets older.

In the mean time, I’ll just borrow it.

But seriously, it looks like they need to raise $3,000 in the next few weeks:
For nearly two year, seminarians of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter have been organizing a trip for 22 young people to serve the poor in the rural mission parish along the Haitian border in the town of Banica, Dominican Republic. Much to our chagrin, we have recently learned that some of our costs have unexpectedly increased. These include gas and transportation as well as the cost of the projects we hope to accomplish. We are therefore in search of generous people who will enable us to see this project to its completion. We need sponsors in particular to help us build outhouses in two extremely poor villages where there is no electricity or running water and where most of the people live in huts made of mud and sticks. We desperately need to come up with approximately $3,000 in the next few weeks. Would you consider joining us in this service to the poorest of the poor? Your contribution is tax-deductible and will directly benefit the Dominicans where we will be working. (All personal expenses have already been provided for.)
