I’m aware that there is a parish in Tacoma that allows the FSSP to say the EF at 7:00 pm on Sundays. Is this usually a Low Mass or a High Mass? Is there any other useful information about this parish?

Thanks

Funny you should ask; I go to that Mass every Sunday. But its not at 7:00pm; its at 5:00 pm and it is a low Mass. The priest is Fr. Ken Baker. The Mass is under the auspices of the FSSP. Once in a while Fr. Baker cannot be there so Fr. Saguto or Fr. Vreeland comes down from Seattle to celebrate Mass.

We are looking for parish members, Altar boys and choir members. Care to join us?

We have a simple web site that we try to keep current;
st-michaels-latin-mass-society.org/

God Bless

Are confessions right before Mass? Also, does that mean the Mass ends at 5:45? I’d be interested in joining, but it would be hard for me to go regularly. It would probably he two days a months. Unless I’m able to go to two Masses a day.

Thanks

Confessions begin at 4:20 pm every Sunday with the recitation of the Rosary at 4:30pm. There is a potluck on the second Sunday of each month right after Mass. Also, we have 1st Friday Mass at noon which will be on January 3rd this next week.

Mass usually takes an hour or very close to it. A lot depends on Fr. Baker’s sermon.

On January 1, the Mass will be at 1:00 pm. The host parish holds their OF Mass at 11:00 am and they are very gregarious :). It takes them a while to clear out for us trads.

also, this Friday is 1st Friday so Mass will be at 12:00 noon.
