Glad you are moving out. I’m praying for you.

If you really love this man, it would be great that he comes around, and I’ll pray for that.

But perhaps consider the fact that it might not work out … if you have your faith, it will be okay either way. I have no idea what will happen, but stick with the Church always.
 
Stay the course–follow the advice of your priest. “Remember, no one was ever lost through obedience to a confessor or saved by disobedience”. You sound like a very nice young lady–your boyfriend should respect you, your relationship, and the Catholic Faith you both profess and share. I will keep you in my prayers.

Only marry someone who loves God more than you. Keep on the right track and keep praying for your boyfriend.
 
I wonder if the OP could go to another priest and get absolution would that make up for the priest the refused absolution? Would the absolution work? Confessor shopping - for lack of a better term.
