Full Communion Easter Vigil

What an amazing time I had last night. I feel blessed to be apart of the Catholic church, and with the help of the Holy Spirit I pray that my conversion keeps growing even stronger.

I picked the confirmation name Francis, after St Francis of Assisi, and his love and help of the poor.

I hope that everyone who were received into the church over Easter also grown in the faith.

May Our Lord bless you and keep you.
May your patron Saint keep you close in prayer.
May you be continually blessed in your faith and may you be a blessing to all whom you meet.

Hi there in Oldham, so glad you had a wonderful experience at the Easter Vigil. Mine was the same, I am just recovering - I feel so tired today, but so happy, too!

I chose the name Teresa, after St Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, who is an inspiration to converts. 🙂
 
I was not disappointed, to say the least. I had the hardest time going to sleep last night after the service, I awoke with a smile still on my face.

My patron saint was Gemma Galgani, when Fr introduced us with our saints name, he started laughing because he didn’t know exactly how to pronounce it. God bless him, it kept me from crying…🙂

Thats great Isca, so pleased that everything went well ! I didn’t get to sleep till 1 especially after a few coffees when i got home. I gave up all drinks apart from water, and really wanted a coffee lol

We had a wonderful night too. 26 joined the church in our parish last night! My patron saint is Teresa of Avila, I’m so inspired by her and she is the patron of headache sufferers - fits me 🙂

We had 23, and I was privileged to be god mother to two of them, as well as being their main Catechist. 🙂

I was the only one received into the church, I was really nervous. But with the strength of Holy spirit, I felt calm. Thank goodness

Finally,after 25 years of thought I made the commitment to God and was baptised at the Easter vigil.It was the most important,life changing and meaningful thing I have ever done and I want spend the rest of my life learning,deepening and understanding my faith.Such an honour.God bless all who were baptised.This is a fantastic site and helped me through this journey with great advice and support.

Yes! I was received into the Church Saturday evening as well! I chose St. Peter Canisius. His Saint’s Day, December 21, is my birthday. I truly feel blessed!
