I can’t remember if I commited a mortal sin or not. I can’t go to confession before mass this afternoon. I don’t know if I should receive the Eucharist or not. I’m really upset.
You do not HAVE to receive the Eucharist at every single Mass, and if you are unsure if you are in a state of grace, the best thing to do is not to receive Eucharist at today’s Mass, schedule a time of confession with the priest, confess, and go from there.
