Fulton sheen books?

Hi guys, I’d like to ask you recommendations of Sheen’s books, though I’m not an American so it’s hard to grasp some of his Ideas about Liberals, communism… Etc but I’m a new Catholic and I’ve been told he’s a good inspiring author, I currently read ‘Thoughts for daily living’ again some ideas are hard to grasp, anyone can recommend a good book by him? He have tons of them don’t know which one to try

I really liked his book *‘Way to Happiness’ *by Fulton J Sheen, it’s really small and was a fantastic read, and *‘The Cross and the Beatitudes’ *by Fulton J. Sheen was also a good little read, The other one of his books I really like would have to be *‘Life of Christ’ *by Fulton J. Sheen, however it’s a fair size, and I haven’t finnished reading it all yet and I understand what your saying about the ‘communism’ thing with that book, however he only sorta hints it in the first chapter or two, it’s a very good book. I also have another called *‘Life is Worth Living’ *by Fulton J. Sheen, however I haven’t read much of it yet, however it looks like it would be good too, it’s supposed to be a compilation of his radio/TV talks.

Anyway, personally I would definately recommend *‘Way to Happiness’ *and 'Life of Christ’ by Fulton J. Sheen.

I’d recommend his autobiography “Treasure in Clay” as a start to his writing (there’s a list of all his books in the back of it), to know more about his life. Then as Josh said Life of Christ is very good.

He also did many talks and television shows that are informative if you get tired of reading. Here is a catechism of talks he did:

I really liked his book *‘Way to Happiness’ *by Fulton J Sheen, it’s really small and was a fantastic read, and *‘The Cross and the Beatitudes’ *by Fulton J. Sheen was also a good little read, The other one of his books I really like would have to be *‘Life of Christ’ *by Fulton J. Interesting… I now read Thoughts for Daily Readings and I’m not sure I’m grasping it right, a bit of a hard read for me (my mother tongue is Russian) Life in Christ is easier? I don’t want to give up on his books

‘Life of Christ’ and ‘Way to Happiness’ I believe are very much layman’s books.
