Fundamentals claim that we are not Christian because we do not say with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, also because they claim we do not invite him into our heart.

But dont we say out loud the Nicene Creed at every Mass?

We believe in one God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, Very God of Very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father by whom all things were made; who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate. He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the quick and the dead, whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and Giver of Life, who proceedeth from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the prophets. And we believe one Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

To the fundamentals how do you justify your claim that we do not say with our mouth that Jesus is Lord?

I’m not a fundamentalist but I know where you are coming from and will be back to see what excuses they come up with.😦

Yeah I grew up Southern Baptist and I never remember saying the Nicene Creed or Apostles Creed in church, and the one thing that all fundamental hit us with is that we do not confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, we actually do, every Mass.

Go Figure!

maybe its the devil Jedi mindtrippinng us, you know as we confess in open forum that we believe in Jesus, they say you need to confess that Jesus is Lord and we are but they keep saying that, until they get a few of us to think, well maybe we dont do this, even though we do at Mass every Sunday.

How about the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy, that many Catholics pray regularly, that includes " Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world."

???

Many other examples in prayer…

See I love our Catholic prayers we always seem to include not only us, but those of the whole world.

vs when I was protestant I would ask Jesus to forgive my sins, I never asked him to forgive others,

now I pray Jesus forgive us of OUR sins and save US from the from the fires of hell, lead ALL souls to heaven, ESPECIALLY THOSE IN MOST NEED

what about: “When we eat this bread and drink this cup, we proclaim your death oh Lord, until you come again in Glory?”
