I posted awhile back about a friend of mine who was disputing Baptism. I explained to her why it was necessary and she decided she wished to be baptised.

Now, I haven’t actively been trying to evangelize her but everytime we speak I share with her the Catholic faith (as I learn it)…

and somehow I’ve managed to convince her to join the Luthern church!

HAHA. WHOOPS. I guess my evangelization skills are a little misaimed. 😉

Has this ever happened to you? Ever been sharing your faith with someone and inspire them to join a similar but seperate church from your own?

Hey its progress at least, I would prefer someone become a Luthern rather than stay unreligious any day and I am sure most would agree with me.

Keep sharing why your Catholic though, most importantly by living as a Catholic as best you can. Ask her to come visit your Church and see a Mass, do some research on it so you can explain the Mass historically (Check out the works of St Justin Martyr.)

Give her a Rosary 👍 Thats what got me home, ask her to pray it with you someday (explain it beforehand though so she knows what is going on and why)

It’s not really an uncommon path to take, your friend probably sees this as a compramise. It’s sort of like the Catholic Church, but still protestant so she doesn’t have to worry about having to enter the whore of babylon, and will be less likely to lose friends than if she just stepped up and entered the fullness of the faith.

Keep talking to her, she’s obviously listening.

My Jeep is evangelizing a Mormon truck. When I arrive at work there is a truck there with a bumper sticker that says "Truth restored, mormon.org. Seems like I always manage to get the last parking spot next to it.
So, I hang my rosary on the mirror and put my little crucifix on the dashboard. Do you suppose they talk when they are alone?:D:D

ROFL. The real question is do they talk or do they argue? 😃

Does your Jeep sometimes seem a bit frazzled and tired out? Or all content and happy?

Well, one time I did find a rose under the windshield wiper.

You’d better hope the truck’s not polygamist. Or you might come out from work one day only to find the truck has eloped with your jeep, a nice little Mini Cooper and a sporty Ferrari.

A coworker/friend of mine shared that as he was marrying a Lutheran, he was || this close to joining the Lutheran Church. My manager and gave a dissapointed “Awwww” in exact unison.

My friend took on a very concerned look and said, “What!?” “What’s wrong???”

My manager said, “Oh man, you gotta step out on the edge… don’t go only 95 percent of the way, go all the way… Go Catholic!”

My friend looked at me and I shook my head and said, “Not CO-substantiation… TRANS-substantiation!” He didn’t have a clue.
