I’ll start. This one is about me when I was four, though I never thought it was funny and getting teased about it years after made it even less so.
When I was four, my family went on vacation. I also want to say I lost my two front teeth at that point but I’m not sure. Anyway, we were traveling through New Mexico and stayed in Alburqurque. I, finding the pronounciation a bit difficult, called it Apple Turkey. It stuck and for years I would get teased about it and whenever Alburqurque was mentioned, Apple Turkey would come up.
Around that same age, we went to San Diego. Our hotel roomed overlooked a golf course. I remember yelling out the balcony door to the golfers to go home and eat their supper (they didn’t hear me but apparently I may have been bossy around that age though I think was just offering helpful advice).:angel1:
A couple about one of my friend’s kids I babysit. I was watching Spider Monkey (he loves Spiderman and climbs like a monkey so I nicknamed him Spider Monkey) and was pushing him on the swing. He said he was wanted to see the grass. I told him the trees were in the way. He told me to move the trees. I just cracked up laughing.
His dad was working in the garden and Spider Monkey goes, “The garden’s dirty.” Well, it did need to be weeded and fertilized.
