I saw coasters (you know, for under drinks so your tables don’t get ruined) that said “You have set a table before me, my cup runneth over” I laughed first, then said wait…funny or sacrilage?
any thoughts?
Same category IMO. Humorous yes, but sacrilage just the same. I’d want to swat myself for laughing. I think its best to avoid that stuff as best we can.

Haha, I actually think this one is funny. It sounds like a Christian “inside joke”, as opposed to the t-shirt, which is making fun of Christian culture.

I think the shirt is funny and would be a great ice breaker. Good, clean, appropriate humor for an ice cream social. Just my opinion.

If I saw a fellow walking down the street wearing it I would immediately think he was anti-Christian. Your family and friends will know that you feel it is simply light-hearted humour but others may not…just something to ponder.

Incidently, I’ve never liked being a walking billboard for products or companies and have always shyed away from slogan t-shirts. Let them pay for their own advertising I say! I just can’t imagine Jesus would be happy providing free advertising for anything either.
