Funny or Wrong

This doesn’t strike me as blasphemous. Does God like sports, and does He have a sense of humor? Since men are made in His image, I would think He would not be displeased with this.
 
Worn in the Christian community it is cute. But out with unbelievers, it might be a bad witness. I would not wear to mall if that makes sense.

Among Jews, we tend to have a healthy sense of humor, even about religious issues.

Back in 2005 when my son became Bar Mitzvah, there was a Christian tee shirt that was popular among kids, which read, “Jesus is my homeboy”.

I bought one for my son that had a cartoon of Moses holding the Ten Commandments, and it read, “Moses is my homeboy”.

He wore it to synagogue and the guys got a big kick out of it!

My own favorite is one that reads, “Jesus saves, but Moses invests”. 🙂
 
LOL that is way funny.

There was a T-shirt awhile back with an image of 3 well built guys in a fire it said:

that site has tons (a few where rather tasteless), but most where pretty funny. 🙂

AMEN!!!

This falls under the “Big Butter Jesus and Me” philosophy. It is a form of using the Lord’s name in vain. Using the Lord’s name in vain is not just in the context of cursing. This is using the Lord’s name disrespectfully.

Where is the line between funny and wrong? I don’t know myself, but, I do know that another site I’m on is talking about Jesus butt-plugs. THAT is wrong. That crosses the line.
