Funny true story from a hectic mom

I wasn’t sure where to put this, but wanted to share…it’s so cute!

My friend has her hands full being a single mom of two boys, ages 10 & 12, but she is devout and is trying to bring her boys up as good Catholics. They were rushing this morning, as her eldest was scheduled to serve at Mass and she didn’t want to be late.

This is the conversation at their house this morning after she told the youngest that he could not wear shorts to Mass, no matter the heat:

Mom: C’mon, hurry up!
Cam: I could go faster if I wasn’t so hot in these pants.
Mom: Jesus was hot, too, when he was hanging on the cross.
Cam: At least he was only wearing a loin cloth.



We suggested to her that next week she tell him he can wear his loincloth, and he’ll probably choose long pants.

Yes, this was very funny. Good for her for going to such lengths!

When I first read the title, I read “Funny true story from a heretic mom”.

Yes, this was very funny. Good for her for going to such lengths!
