Future affecting our past

I know this is an odd question, but on several occasions the thought came to my mind that our future affects our past.

I had a near death experience where I was about to die, and calling God’s name I was saved. I have a strong feeling I was saved by God, and every time I pray, I feel like the prayers not only affect my future, but also my past, as if I am asking God to save me in the past. When I pray Hail Mary, and say the words “in the hour of our death”, I don’t think about the future but immediately go into the past.

What do you think, crazy?

Well, your NDE while very possibly real, was not “your hour of death.” That remains ahead. 😦

However, Heaven lies outside of time, and so can affect both ends of it.
