Hi Catholic forums! I’m sending a wedding invitation to my future sister-in-law whom I have never met. She lives on the other side of the world, is married, and has children, but my fiance hardly speaks to her. It is difficult to keep in touch because of the distance. I thought I’d include a little note with our wedding invitation, but I don’t know what to say. Any ideas? I won’t meet her for another couple years. We know she can’t make it to the wedding because it’s too expensive.

“We’re sorry you and your family can’t be at the wedding, but you will be there in our thoughts. I’m so looking forward to meeting all of you some day! Love, _________”

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++++++++++++

God’s Spirit is in my heart,
He has called me and set me apart.
This is what I have to do,
what I have to do.

He sent me to give the Good News to the poor,
Tell prisoners that they are prisoners no more,
Tell blind people that they can see,
And set the downtrodden free
And go tell everyone the news that the Kingdom of God has come,
And go tell everyone the news that the Kingdom of God has come.

Just as the Father sent me,
So I’m sending you out to be
My witnesses throughout the world,
The whole of the world.

Don’t worry what you have to say,
Don’t worry because on that day
God’s Spirit will speak in your heart,
Will speak in your heart.
