“Eternity” is a quality of God Himself.
The very word “eternal” means “outside of time.”
That’s the real meaning of “eternal life” promised in John 3:16. It’s the kind of life God Himself has.
It’s qualitatively different from ours, not just unending.

Question: If there was ever a “time” when there was nothing, what would there be today?

IMO that counts for naught here as all authority has been given by My Father to My Brother for before me he was and is.
My Father has not a beginning or end and is so infinite in goodness has no need of time concept. He gave us this so we could have awareness to celebrate festivals of remembrance that He and that he has done for us would stay in our minds un forsaken. And of course while we dont know the hour biblical prophecy is sequence. Measure of time, the sun the moon and the stars gives us opportunity to not be slumbering when the trumpets sound.
If the sun did not set how would we know when the day begins?
In another thread people have been talking about His beginning, when i think the beginning they were speaking of was the origin to this state of being.
I was not going to say anything in this thread and was just going to see if any one else had a god with a beginning.
But i would be remiss not to love you to answer as you love me enough to post a question.
