Again, if Adam & Eve had the power to see the tree of life after their sin, so should we the descendants…

The Garden of Eden would be a representation of the state of man living on this earth with the preternatural graces of immortality and communion with God. It is remarkably similar to how paradise is described in Revelation, and we know there will be a new earth, so basically the Garden of Eden is like a precursor to being in heaven on earth.

Well, then we can take the whole Bible stories as “figures” which will be open to many possibilities, which will not be acceptable in-front of other religions…

Maybe God moved the Tree of Life to Heaven along with the Ark. There have been severel places in the Near and Middle East that have being the Gardan of Edan. I don’t think we are going to know what happened to it until we get to Heavan. 🍿:ouch::angel1:

And our Blessed Mother was only visible to the three children and not the crowd of seventy thousand at Fatima. Nothing necessitates angels or saints to assume visibility to the eye but appears to assume visibility in the mind of the intended observer/s. I have heard of studies done that uses electromagnetic tech that is able to flash images in the subject’s mind and bypassing their eyes, other tech is able to bypass everything involved with hearing and directly (name removed by moderator)ut sounds into the auditory cortex.

Not sure whether we still need the tree of life since Jesus is giving us the life-giving water. He is the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6)

Remember, what Paul said about being grafted into the tree while others were broken out… what Jesus said about his Father, the husbandman, pruning the branches from Jesus… the tree of life represented Adam and Eve’s free and unhindered access to communion with God – the Word, who is now incarnate.

Yup. “He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.” (John 6:54)

Going to Mass is like eating from the Tree of Life.

Do you mean the “Cherubim and a flaming sword” are invisible and only will be visible in the mind of someone if that someone approached the tree of life?

If that is the case then there was no need for “Cherubim and a flaming sword” to protect the tree of life since we “humans” after the sin cannot see spiritual things…
