I recently went and filled up my car’s gas tank. The lady behind the register gave me a ticket for a mail-in rebate from Miller Light Beer. It says that if you spent $40 or more on gas, then you could mail in your receipt and get a $20 rebate. I spent $50, so I was pretty excited. Then, I looked on the back. It says you must be 21 or older to participate. I assume because the beer companies wants me to buy their beer, although the rebate slip said no alcohol purchase necessary. I am only 18, so my mom said that she would fill the slip out for me and give me the $20. For full disclosure, she also did give me $25 for gas, and I paid the other $25 myself.
Is it wrong to send in for that rebate money?
