Gaudete Sunday School Party--Ideas?

I’m going to throw a Guadete Sunday party for the 3rd graders next week. I want to focus on Jesus as seen throught the O Antiphons.

I want to make it clearly an Advent celebration versus a Christmas party. And, I’m doing it on Guadete Sunday so we can focus on rejoicing.

Any ideas for activities? How about songs?
 
Jesse tree with a twist, symbols that tie the OT figures to the symbolism in the O Antiphons, this can be an actual tree, or a banner, or ornaments for their home trees.
