Gay activists tell Disney to make Queen Elsa a lesbian

Gay activists are lobbying Disney to turn Queen Elsa, in the upcoming Frozen II movie, to be a lesbian.
Last week, the LGBT lobby and liberal Hollywood stood together demanding Disney create Queen Elsa’s character into a lesbian. In fact, they claim, based off of her character views in Frozen, she is already a lesbian and now only needs a girlfriend, according to citizengo.
Citizengo adds: Global media outlets with influence started publishing opinion articles, calling this message “universal… there are women who love women, and that we deserve love stories too.” This unified demand is for Disney to ‘improve its record on representing LGBT people.
Apparantely,GLAAD, a US gay lobby organization and hate-group against Christians, released a statement criticizing the 11 films released by Disney in 2015, “0 appearances of LGBT people” in these animated films.

Ugh. Hope the movie gets stuck in development hell. This mania of sticking gay characters into every possible work of fiction has got to stop! :mad:
 
When will these people be satisfied? Haven’t they destroyed our society enough? They’re outrageous.
 
Frozen in a money-making machine. I don’t think they’ll tamper with the formula by making it into a controversy machine. At best, the heroine will become the first Disney Princess with no prince in tow. That is about as far out onto a limb as I expect them to go.

The chances are that Disney will have a princess with short hair, small eyes, or a pear shape before they mess with the hour-glass figured, doe-eyed, long-haired heterosexual heroine formula. They may keep the character out of a romantic relationship, but I very much doubt they’ll inject a same-sex relationship, not unless they do a “Mulan” and depict a same-sex couple from history, existing legend, or widely-accepted fiction.

If someone out there wants a lesbian princess in an animated movie, they had better start a production company and produce their own. It is only what someone who’d like to see St. Elizabeth of Hungary or St Margaret of Scotland made into an animated princess would have to do. (We’ll all get old and die before we ever see Disney do it. There isn’t enough money in it, and generating money is what Disney princesses are really all about.)

I sure hope your theory is right. I can’t take this being shoved in my face any longer.

They want homosexuality and heterosexuality to be treated as utterly equivalent variants on human sexuality. They want gender dysphoria to be treated as a situation where biology is in conflict with a person’s greater interior truth.

Some imagine that a world in which there are no sexual confusions, where acceptance of all persons means celebration of all choices, is going to be a kind and happy world. It’s not all the same people, but there is likely to be someone out there who isn’t satisfied yet for the foreseeable future.

Remember, though: we are always going to have to contend with the world, the flesh, and the devil. We are the ones who ought to expect constant reminders we don’t belong to this world.
 
Why does dating and sexuality have to be brought up? Why is it that everyone needs to be pared up in Disney movies? Why can’t Elsa just be a strong independent woman who doesn’t need to be in a relationship too be happy? That should be the message to young girls, not that they need a relationship too be happy!

Yes, this is all true. It’s just so hard for me to find a way to be able to speak out on this and articulate it in a way that opens peoples’ eyes to all of the damage that they’re causing. It’s so hard to get people to understand why this is so twisted. It’s frustrating beyond belief.

I’m only talking about Disney, because it is still run by people who care the most about making money off of parents of little girls who want their princesses to find a prince and give them grandchildren some day.

As for the homosexualization of American culture, I think it will continue apace for some time, right along with the loosening and twisting of sexual mores among heterosexuals that paved the way for it. Looking back in history, widespread acceptance of sexual immorality doesn’t right itself gently. I hope this time is different, but I don’t see it coming. This situation will probably keep along the same lines until the next societal dark ages, and that is nothing a sane person would long for. We can hope for a religious revival. Otherwise, things look pretty bleak.

We live in a time when you cannot have a moral boundary without other people taking offense that you’re “branding them as immoral.” Never mind that the same people get the branding iron out plenty quick if you violate some behavioral boundary they’ve set up. If you agree with them, you are modern, civilized and kind, and if you don’t you are oppressive, rigid, or worse.

We also live in a time when saying that a sexual proclivity is disordered gets the response, “So, you think I’m crazy? Is that what you’re saying?” On one hand, they’d claim that someone who has a psychiatric condition they would characterize as a mental disorder suffers no disrespect from them just because they have a name for the disorder, but if you dare to say that they have a way of thinking that is disordered, you are automatically accused of disrespect for them as persons.

The extent to which the evil one is at work can be seen by the extent to which so much of this rhetoric is internally inconsistent or inconsistent with obvious physical fact. A heterosexual couple differs from a homosexual couple in such an obvious and practical way that it beggars belief that people can take offense when the difference is recognized. They do it, though. They must practice in front of a mirror until they can convince themselves it is the truth, but they do it. The proclivities of boys can be demeaned without a qualm, but do the same thing with girls and you can depend upon being branded a sexist. (As an example, I was appalled at how two college admissions officers repeatedly put down males compared to females at a college information night. If the tables had been turned, there would have been some very upset murmuring.)

Not for the legions of families whose kids love the movie and characters.

My daughter loves it and loves Elsa, but the day they make her a lesbian is the day she is gone from our lives. Whether by allowing a lesbian Elsa to be a role model, or by disallowing it in your home, the kids are the ones who lose in both cases.

Homosexual lobbyists need to get over themselves. Such immature attitudes. Can you tell they are an insecure lot? Whether or not Disney every creates an overtly Catholic/Christian character doesn’t validate me. Most groups in the world are secure enough in who they are. LGBT lobbyists never have been, and never will be, because frankly, what they promote is wrong. Society may accept something, but the human soul at its core can never balance a soul created in the image and likeness of God, and that which is directly contrary to God’s plan.

It is a feature-length animated film that generated roughly 1.3 billion in ticket sales and perhaps an equal amount in licensing and merchandise sales for Disney. The merchandise from the film is so ubiquitous I would be surprised if you could *quit *seeing it once you took the trouble to notice it.

You can look up the plot; there are apparently gay activists who linked Queen Elsa’s magical power to create winter weather conditions to homosexuality, because her parents tried to force her to hide her ability to create ice and snow, out of concern for the harm it could cause. (A bit of a stretch, to say the very least.)
 
That ship sailed on the Disney brand years ago.
I’ve given up on them as being “family” entertainment.
Blech.
 
Disney isn’t stupid and they aren’t going to alienate a huge chunk of their audience.

Walt Disney died a long time ago. I remember his films as being innocent, delightful fun. I loved Snow White and Bambi.

Why do these people try to take over everything they can get into?

I hope you are wrong but I suspect you are right.

The parks have gay days. Much of their park cast is very obviously gay. It seems a lot of Disney has been co-opted as “camp”.

The tween TV programs are garbage. The adult TV programs as well. I have figured it was only a matter of time until their kiddie stuff was unwatchable.

I had already objected to the underlying messages of Frozen, and have had many talks with the kids about my objections to the themes and I tend to fall into mocking a little too easy. But I have a lot of daughters who simply adore the theme of sister princesses and they love Anna and Elsa. For that reason, I allow it in our home. But if they go through with what Hollywood is pushing, all Frozen items will be removed from our home. I cannot tolerate them twisting sisterly love and female friendships into yet another sexually perverse scenario. :mad:
