Ladies and gents, I need something tangible for a discussion with skepticals. Something with numbers, records, whatever it takes. In some discussions, people just don’t buy the argument that a child needs both a mother and a father and that having a gay co-parent is worse than having just one parent because of the distorted image of the missing future being worse than a mere lack of it.

So yes, I realise they’re simply not going to see it as wrong that a child will not know first-hand how things normally work in human families or even in plain human reproduction. They won’t see it as wrong that a child will have gay experience recorded in its brain. That it will have identification problems. Well, at least they won’t take it for granted.

However, I suppose someone wise must have written something about it already at this point. So, have any links I could use? Thank you very much in advance.

DO I HAVE THE SOURCE BOOK FOR YOU!

The author is a committed liberal who uses FACTS, and nothing but the FACTS, to make his case that ssm is not beneficial to society or children. He uses unbiased sources (like the CDC) throughout to show, beyond a doubt, that research and study (including anthropological research) strengthens the case for traditional marriage as the only proper environment in which to have and raise children.

Good luck with winning this argument; even though we know the truth and thousands of years of history have proven us out, most on the other side of the arguement won’t accept the facts. 🤷

Take a look at the book “Male and Female He made them” by Mary Jo Anderson and any of the many studies by Maggie Gallagher.
