I just hope to God the CC doesn’t cave to worldly pressure to change their stance on sexual sin so - forgive me for calling them this - sodomites can preach about sin

episcopalianism is pathetic. it was founded on sexual sin and it remains in sexual sin. the worst part about the guy is he’s so prideful and concieted. like his opinion amounts to anything. it reminds of when clinton criticized JPII by saying “he has a mixed legacy like all of us”.

He actually said that about JPII:( I wouldn’t go that far … but yes historically that was one of the reasons why I decided not to become an Anglican. They come off as far tooooo liberal on certain moral issues!!! Yes … he is very prideful, arrogant, and conceited!!! Maybe God will wipe that smirk off his face … I feel sorry for him on Judgement Day. He is making all my Anglican/Episcopalian friends …(in nicer words)…very angry. Since they don’t beleive he should even be a priest … yet he is a Bishop in the Anglican Church. I wonder what George Bush (the first one) thinks since he is Anglican? Jeb Bush the Governor of Florida is Roman Catholic (he is a converso) … I wonder what he thinks too???

Let me tell you, you are so right.

He’s got a personal agenda and he’s using his position as “bishop” (which I put in quotes because he is not one IMO) to shove his homosexuality down the throats of everyone and A LOT of Episcoplians are throwing “IT” up by leaving the church!

He also has been a keynote speaker for Planned Parenthood. And before that he did an article / interview with PP, in which he compared his “coming out of the closet” experience with the Passover.

He’s definitely leading folks AWAY from the ECUSA… and it seems to me that the ECUSA doesn’t really care.:tsktsk:

He wants to drag the Church to his “sinfulness.” Good thing is that we are Catholics and never mind his fury, it will never reached the ears of the Supreme Pontiff.
 
I’m pretty sure the net effect of Vicky Gene’s activities are positive for the RCC. He’s causing a brain drain in America. Rusty Reno, Al Kimel, etc. They held out until the sacrilege in New Hampshire and then crossed the Tiber rather than persist in a desperate sitiuation. I haven’t spoken with anyone who honestly believes ECUSA is now reformable.
