Suudy, you quoted from the 39 Articles in the Book of Common Prayer. They are historical documents that were written in the 16th Century when England was sorting out where it stood between Catholic theology and Reformed Protestant theology (not to mention the political situation). They are not binding, nor carved in stone.
This is my point. The issue I had when I was in the Episcopal church was this exact language: “They are not binding, nor carved in stone.” That’s basically what I learned in confirmation classes. There are not fixed teachings, there is only the liturgy. It’s empty. It’s just about what we do, not what we believe. I’m of the mind that belief precedes action. Action without belief is empty. And action contrary to belief is condemnable.

So, here’s my question. How are the Synod fathers going to make this “requested” change? The Synod produces a document that goes to the Pope. It’s not a teaching document for the Church, it’s a recommendation to the Holy Father. The Synod cannot change the Catechism. The Pope could order a revision of the wording in the Catechism but the CCC doesn’t stand alone in using this terminology. No one, not even the Pope, can change past documents, such as Persona Humana.

So at best, the goal is to use less “harsh” language in the report to the Pope and hope that he revises the CCC? Ok then.
