Hi,

Im not sure how many of you know this but a couple of years ago the NJ Governor McGreevy resigned becasue he is gay. Now on the news today it says he is thinking about becoming a gay episcopal minister:eek:

From governor of NJ to parson of TEC, formerly ECUSA, formerly PECUSA.

You just can’t write jokes like that if you try, and I have done some stand up.

Source, please?🙂

No. TEC has already committed to ignore the requirements of the Primates as set forth during the Tanzania conference. Bishop Robinson knows that TEC is not willing to “turn its back” on his ordination, so I doubt that his actions are that calculated. But who knows…?
Well it isn’t that I was thinking there was any real possibility BUT for them to ignore and turn their backs on TAC, but this just seems to accomplish two things - to emphasize the decisiveness of the break, and to do so in such a way that is so emphatic, one of TAC’s famous 11th hour comprimises to appease conservative parties, will be unlikely.

I hate to sound cynical or like a conspiracy theorist, but the trajectory that PECUSA has been on in the past few decades seems a little too contrived to have not been manipulated.
