It’s not facts - it is the presentation of a dictatorship forged from the fear of this “destruction of civilisation” that so many harp on about - it’s actually quite good if you are interested in politics - watch it, I did, one of the good points is that the film does not make the viewer leave the cinema with a certain thought, but allows them to reach their own conclusion. It presents only a hypothetical scenario - a dream…

That’s what I want to know. They are typically the most dreary of souls, basing their whole definition as a person (why else be defined as Gay) on their sex drive and then hiding it. And then when we don’t understand, it’s our fault.

And the author of the original book wanted nothing to do with the film. And it makes a gross exaggeration of Guy Fawkes.

The same author of the comics has wanted nothing to do with any of the other adaptations of his work - it is not only this film, he just doesn’t like other peoples interpretations.

Guy Fawkes is barely mentioned - trust me, they are two very separate people.

For those of you questioning the purposed of “gay pride” you should be looking at your own posts. Views like yours are the reason people feel it necessary to have events such as this.

See, believe it or not, there are beliefs out there that are in fact NOT (emphasis on -->not<–) Catholicism.

As for the “hetero pride” argument… please, consider coming up with a decent argument before posting. I dont see anyone complaining that there is no white history month.

Perhaps we could have Sinner’s Pride Day. A day we come out and celebrate our choice to embrace all kinds of nasty things. We could celebrate infidelity, theft, bestiality, cheating, etc…

It was the law since the founding of the country. (know the facts before posting please)

You are aware that in some states sodomy is illegal and that only recently (2003) the Supreme Court ruled the law unconstitutional.

Speaking about illogical arguments.

It does not take a rocket scientist to see that a male and female were naturally made for each other. It should be obvious to the most ignorant of minds that the plumbing doesn’t work between two men. :banghead:

That way nobody is passing judgement and saying that minority groups are ‘different’ and should be treated differently when that is clearly wrong. Back at square one. We’ve already been over this. I’m not here to try to argue that homosexuality is correct in your eyes, because it isnt. That was a total cop out to my response.

This is a discussion about the application of religion to law. No one is telling you what to believe.

If you don’t believe that God finds this behavior to be sinful, then you won’t find our opinions/debates to be logical. God finds the act of two people of the same gender having sex together 2 be sinful. I don’t think this–I know it to be true, because it’s the written word of God in the Bible. You say that you don’t like the ‘arguments’ presented…that’s because you don’t believe that God finds the homosexual lifestyle to be a mortal sin.

We all have viable opinions…and I look at homosexual living like any other sin–no worse, no better. I think that the problem you have is that you don’t like our argument. LOL

God bless, and I hope you find your way out of that lifestyle…truly, you’ll be more at peace if you surrender your own ‘pride,’ whether it be gay pride or otherwise, to God.
