The Ask An Apologist has an answer on this that I believe may help.
A very good friend of mine has invited me to his daughter’s wedding and reception. She is gay and will be marrying another woman. Can I attend? Should I attend?
Michelle Arnold:
I cannot recommend attending or celebrating “same-sex weddings” under any circumstances.

What are the rules for attending weddings?

I hope this has helped

Homosexuals do not commit sin by having a wedding ceremony. They commit sin by engaging in illicit sexual conduct. I presume this doesn’t take place at the ceremony.
Huh. Yes they do objectively speaking that is. (one cannot know their heart …what ignorance etc is present…but objectively speaking YES it is by nature sinful to attempt a gay wedding)

And we may not approve of that which is objectively sinful (even if the persons are actually innocent of sin.)

Why exactly is masturbation intrinsically evil? That one too I’ve never heard an explanation on. It can be caused from stress.
