Gays in the military

I agree, but I’ve also met some “bi-sexuals” who were men living as gay men that were not in (my opinion,) gay. It brakes my heart to see these young guys that are truly confused rush out to try and find out if they are gay or straight and end up even more lopsided about there sexual identity. But in todays culture it’s hard to get people to listen. I try to tell my younger friends that confusion is ok and it’s ok to step back, but because I am celibate (I abstain from sex) everything I say gets filtered by the belief that I am a holier-than-thou prude. And the truth is simply I’m done with it. I don’t look down on practicing homosexuals because I’ve been there and I still have plenty of temptation, but still I have that reputation.

I agree. Just because someone is homosexual, doesn’t mean they will molest children…that is a HUGE leap. Visa versa…if someone molests children, they could be heterosexual, even if they are molesting children from the same sex…pedophilia has more to do with overpowering an innocent child, in a sexual way–much like rape does. Just my understanding of it.

Ridiculous. One might even say bigoted. Any evidence? Or do you just wish to insult millions of people by making an ill-concieved false broad statement with no basis in reality? Especially when there have been numerous NUMEROUS studies refuting your statement. Disgusting.

One should not equate the two as a pedophiliac will molest either gender and a homosexual will concentrate specifically on males. Many people make the mistake of referring to NAMBLA as a group of pedophiles but that is not true as they are interested only in post pubsecent boys

Of course. “A homosexual will concentrate specifically on males”. Likewise, A heterosexual will concentrate specifically on females. I do not like your insinuation that all homosexuals, or most, or even a hefty portion of them, engage in anything but consensual legal sexual activity. I hope that is not what you are suggesting, as that is, at the very least, fallacious, if not bigoted and disgusting, and not backed up in any legitimate evidence recognized by accredited sources.

I never said any such thing. I dont know how you could possibly get that from what i posted. I guess its anothere case of your personal interpretation being wrong.

You even said “of course” to his clearly stated remark. The only thing Bob said is that NAMBLA members are only interested in post-pubescent boys. Now, which of his statements do you have a problem with? That “homosexuals will concentrate specifically on males” or that NAMBLA members “are interested in only post-pubescent boys?”

Nowhere did Bob say that all homosexuals are NAMBLA members…if that’s what you think he is insinuating. Nowhere did Bob say that a “hefty portion” of homosexuals engage in illegal sexual activity…unless you believe that a “hefty portion” of homosexuals are members of NAMBLA. 😛
