Gelatin on Friday? (Ruthenian)

According to their (i.e. Standard Process) literature, it’s a vegetarian product but not vegan.

Most gelatin comes from beef but some companies do have vegetarian capsules or softgels.

It was experimental. I dissolve sugar in some water, and where most people would add corn syrup I added 50/50 corn syrup and honey. Bring to around 240F, then turn off the heat, add gelatin, and mix until you have marshmallow fluff.
 
You sound exactly like my godmother. She didn’t use measurements either. 😁
 
I don’t want my cooking to be hindered by the harsh legalism of measuring cups 😛
