In the first chapter of Genesis, after each day of creation, God describes how good each was- except water. Now water is important in Catholic teaching (Baptism), so what is the deal?
I ask the question because I remember reading a Jewish explanation that water was not described as good because Moses suffered through water, by being put in the river (Nile?), so the description was left out. Since Moses is often considered to have written the Torah, he might have had a grudge against water, and left the good description out. So another question: where did Moses have the time to write the Torah? (Keep in mind Joshua was said to have finished the last part about Moses’s death).
