Happy Easter all.

The General Intercessions for Good Friday OF - prayers for the Pope, Jews etc - can they be changed even if they follow the same pattern or does a parish have to use them as contained in the Missal.

Does anyone know? Any documents?

Thanks.

No, they can’t be changed - read the black, do the red.

There are a few places in the liturgy where there are options and these are clearly marked. This is not one of them. There wouldn’t be such a tizzy about a single word such as “perfidious” if the words could be changed at will.
