Hello all. If this is not the right forum for this question, I apologize and ask that someone please direct me to the right forum.

Genesis 7 - 10 discusses the Great Flood and Noah’s sons and their descendants. Of course, at this time only Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives are the only survivors of the flood (not including the animals.) However, Chapters 11 - 14 are related to Abram (Abraham.) - descendant of Noah’s son Shem - and his move from Canaan to Egypt, back to Canaan, and then the war of the kings.

My question: Are the Egyptians and the other inhabitants of the lands descendants of Noah’s children - Ham and Japheth or have I missed something? This question is more historical than scriptural.

Thank you!
