Is there an official Church stance on this issue?

The only information I can find is from a book I own called Panic Nation: Unpicking the Myths We’re Told About Food and Health which states “the major religious groups, including the Vatican, have declined to endorse the anti-GMO campaign”

Then I have heard some people say “GMOs are a sign of the coming of the anti-Christ”

Does the Church have an official stance on this issue?

:confused::confused::confused::confused:

Here is an article I think you’ll find helpful:

👍 Thanks for the article. At the grandiose expense of big business raking in billions in profits (“I don’t trust them one iota”) even if they get government approval to produce such genetically enhanced foods.

What people see labelled and listed on canned and packaged food now probably doesn’t even account for other chemically enhanced production methods used in foods prepared for market today. Which brings to question do you really know what all that is used to make the food you eat on your table? You may not want to know half of all that used.
All for the almighty dollar at every bodies health expense beginning at the cellular genetic level and the effects of our offspring in the future.
