Am I right to say that you genuflect towards the tabernacle? My college has Mass in a lecture hall, so I don’t think there is a tabernacle. Do I still genuflect?
You should bow to the altar. If you want to genuflect as a sign of reverence, you can do it after the Consecration, when approaching for Holy Communion (although I understand that most people bow as a sign of reverence when receiving Communion).

no tabernacle, no genuflection. If you happen to leave Mass after the consecration, while Jesus is truly present on the altar, then yes you genuflect toward the altar at that time.

Not if there is no Tabernacle. If there is no Tabernacle, bow to the altar. That is the case in our church, where the Tabernacle is in a separate chapel.
