What does that feel like? I think I can too formal or my heart is not into it.
 
Real prayer should be2-way comunication, but you don’t just get to this point without some preparation. First, we need a mind that is renewed in the scripture. We must build up a habit of prayer. Use the “Our Father” as a pattern of prayer. Use praise and worship as a way of entering in to the presence. One traditional method is to pray the scripture. If you are a little musical, try singing your praise sometimes. Prayer is not easy, that is why the apostles asked Jesus to teach them.
 
It feels like, for me, anyways, a random chill. It’s just an odd thing. I’ll be praying the rosary, and all of a sudden, a chill.
 
It could feel like all sorts of things, like a mirror of whatever you’re feeling at that particular time. Or it could feel like nothing at all, and still be the most genuine prayer. The important thing, from my perspective as one not very advanced in prayer, is to keep at it, regardless of whatever you may or may not be feeling at any given time.

It is not necessary to “feel” anything in order for it to be genuine prayer. Just mean what you say with your will, and the Lord will allow you to have feelings when He so desires. Pray in faith! He hears you and He loves you. Be silent at times, in His presence.
