From this interview (It’s on Sweetness and Light, but it’s originally from 60 Minutes).

Though someone on these forums (who shall remain nameless) has called him a “secular saint”, turns out Soros is essentially a sociopath who can’t even pretend to feel bad that he helped the Nazis confiscate Jewish property.

His excuse, something you stop hearing from normal people around the time they turn 8, reminded me of this cartoon by Louis Raemaeker, from World War I:

Caption: Bernhardiism–“It’s all right. If I hadn’t done it some one else might.”

Well, if you were in Soros’ position, what could you have done? What could you have done to help? I think Soros was doing what he thought he needed to survive, and the situation of the Holocaust scared him. Furthermore, he realizes how lucky he is.

Heh, don’t let it worry you. You worship Soros, we worship God. (😉 kidding you big time) Anyways, you may well read here and here for examples of people who took different paths than Soros
