I fully intend on going to get some Rocky Road ice cream at some point this evening. YUMMY IN MY TUMMY!
 
I agree, me too! And Baskin-Robbins even has a drive-thru, which I’ve never used. But at this time of day, I do not feel like going out and tromping thru Wal-Mart.

Those pics are making me drool! Not helpful for this waistline! 🍨🤤

Get an ice cream maker, but be careful of the raw egg in the ice cream recipe. It could cause salmonella or something. (I am a kill-joy).

Some parents can be extremely controlling. I knew a father once who told his adult daughter how to brush her teeth and not swallow any toothpaste. This father also told her not to get married. The young woman had no life, really, because the father was very controlling. He would pick fights with her over her dates.This was difficult, but there was no counseling for the family because her father wouldn’t allow such a thing.

At the time, when she was still in school, he forbade her to go to Communion every day because “she needed her breakfast.” That was when there was a longer fast required. Her classmates did OK, however.

There comes a time to just let go. Some kids join the military to get out from this sort of thing and maybe that’s a good idea.

Just out of curiosity, how did your daughter who was recently confirmed became an Eucharistic Minister?

Not all:

A is spread by oral-fecal contact (ie filth) It is vaccinated against
B is serum spread (typically blood)
C is spread by blood typically by drug users
D is primarily sexually transmitted
E is transmitted by dirty water, primarily in Asia
G pathology is not yet known, although it is identified.

Yeah. I know of very few churches who would make a 14yo EMHC…especally one that was super busy with school and sports.
