Get credit for all that housework!

Thanks again! I’m staying on top of things!
I tried entering adventures for two days and it locked me out saying that there were too many points being claimed and that maybe too many points were being awarded for adventures. I don’t know how you ladies with infants manage to find time to claim your time! I’ve returned my niece so hopefuIly I can enter info daily. The site said that it bases 1XP per minute with an 8hr max per day - riight.
I’m going to try to claim 1XP per minute of adventure and count multitasking: example dishwashing (by hand) while preparing dinner and see what happens. What do you think?

It’s no secret…but we have our seperate “team” for our personal use. That’s the team he joined.
It’s called “Dogs and Suds” Why you might ask? Because that is my entire life. Taking care of two dogs, and cleaning (and cooking and caring for hubby 😉 )
**That’s why I made the statement we should get points for logging. Cause I am logging in everything twice! 😃 **

forgive me if this was already discussed - I didn’t read every post - but are you all having some things show up on different days? must be a timezone thing. Putting DD to bed and doing my evening chores I logged yesterday is showing up for today. 🤷
 
It might have something to do with the time zones?? That’s the only thing I can think of. I have it set for GMT, only because there are so many time zones in the United States, it’s just easier to use a common time for everyone. 🤷

Yeah, that happened to me too. “Cooking dinner” came up as being done the next morning. :confused: Oh well.
 
Well, I’m going on a trip (visiting FIL’s native village in the wilderness - no phone! no electricity until the 70s! no bathroom until the 90s!) and won’t be doing any chores for a week…

😃 :confused: :eek: :crying: and won’t be getting any points or gold coins!

Wow! I hope you have a great trip and enjoy being “unplugged” for a while! 👍

You can always log a couple of extra things (I’m sure you’ll make your bed while you’re there, or help with the dishes, not to mention feeding Ana!) every day when you get back.

(I guess that’ll put me in the lead :p)
 
Just checking in to make sure everyone is still getting into the site with no problems.

I logged a ton of stuff yesterday - it was a house cleaning bonanza of a weekend!! I’m glad to get to work so I can relax! :cool:

I’ve been doing that, but can only log in 500 pts a day - some adventures are lost for good! Btw, I never make my bed - not even Chorewars can make me do it - I just creep back into it every night, and when the sheets need changing, dh does it. 😃

You’d definitely be in the lead now if you hadn’t been away for 3 WHOLE DAYS! Where have you been?!

You must have confused it with my join date - which was in 2005. This is a new thread, and we’re very active indeed!!! You are welcome to join us, lizaanne should be able to help you with that. 🙂

I’m so glad to hear I’m not the only one who doesn’t make her bed every day. I don’t make the kids do it, either. :o

You are right. But the passcode is expired. There should be a permanent one as well as a three day one, isn’t there? I would like to join yours if I could.

Thank you SO MUCH for for posting this! My DH and I have set up our own party with the chores we avoid most (which is most of them, alas!)

This is (to borrow a different metaphor) a “spoonful of sugar” that is really helping us to have a different and better attitude toward turning our apt. into a home…
