I may be missing something… but the app doesn’t seem like that big of a deal. I downloaded it, and I was excited, but without any sort of notifications for important breaking news, it is not much more helpful than my regular routine of checking Catholic sources multiple times a day. I would not suggest that this app be anyones regular source of conclave news. I would like a notification when the conclave starts… and every vote… sort of like an ESPN sports update. But this app is not that.

True enough. It’s basically just compiling other sources. But it is nice to have it all in one place.

Since the conclave is secret, they cannot really do a vote by vote other than to monitor the color of smoke coming from the chimney. I’m curious to see how the live video portion works. We may not really be able to see it in action until the conclave actually starts.
