I am preparing myself for the Sacrament of reconcilliation tommorow, so that I may be free of sin when I recieve the gift of confirmation. :amen:

At least you were not the only adult on the planet to experiance that ;). Even during one of my belt promotions I was the only adult in the whole promotion. I do hope that you tell us your story to encurage us whom have not gotten the privlage to be Confirmed wether its from another religion or a Catholic whom fell out of the faith as a young child.

God Bless Pious. I was a young adult (24) when I was confirmed. A cradle Catholic, I just did not get my act together until I found myself going back to church at college. Welcome!

Is it really a sin that I’m burning with envy right now? 😉

Congrats, though!

AMEN LORD!!

Don’t worry, I was confirmed through the RCIA as the youngest (16), being the next age was about 21 or something rather like that.

Praise the Lord, Alleluia! May Mother Church keep you safe from harm, for the Holy Spirit is upon her!

Amen, to the Holy Spirit! :bounce:

Wonderful that you are going to be Confirmed. Our Confirmation is tonight. We have about 30 young people and 10 adults.

God bless,
Deacon tony

if you are being confirmed in the Latin Rite you are all considered adults for the purposes of sacraments of initiation.

we had a beautiful confirmation for adults at the Basilica of Our Lady of San Juan del Valle, can’t say how many but the place was packed. Several priests assisted the bishop so it went pretty quickly. 10 from our parish, in addition to 9 at Easter Vigil received into the Church, and 61 youth last week. The more I do this the more I sense that something supernatural happens to the group, I can’t find words to describe it, but I have absolute conviction the Holy Spirit comes and works in them, and changes them.
