Getting Divine Mercy icon blessed on Feast of Divine Mercy?

I have a new icon (Divine Mercy) and wonder whether there is anything special or recommended about getting it blessed on the Feast of Divine Mercy ?

does anyone know ? should I make an effort for this to happen or just whenever … ?

You can get it blessed on that day, but if the priest is too busy or you can’t get it done then, the blessing will be just as good if you have it done on another day.
 
there was a mix-up regarding which priest was doing which mass but all was well - my icon got blessed (and I felt blessed too!)
