On Friday morning I am getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed. I’ve never been under general anesthesia before so I’m a little worried about that and I’m just generally anxious about the whole procedure. I could definitely use some prayers for the procedure to go smoothly/without complications and for a quick recovery.

Loving God, please watch over Groundskeeper in this surgery and during recovery.
Please give peace and protection, and Your loving company, to Groundskeeper in all the challenges of life.

Praying for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. May you find comfort in placing the surgery and healing process in the hands of our mother Mary. Amen.

May you have a successful surgery and quick recovery. I remember having all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled. It went very smoothly and I was eating soft foods that evening! I will keep you in my prayers.

Lord help this procedure go smoothly and without complications. We also pray that the recovery is quick. Bring Your peace and comfort in this situation, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Thank you all for your prayers. Everything went well this morning and so far so good with the recovery. God willing it’ll stay that way!

I remember having mine out and telling the oral surgeon that I wasn’t into pain and he simply said. “No worries. I’ll fix you up right.” I was comfortably numb for three days and never even took a tylenol. Find an oral surgeon whose motto is: No pain…no pain!" Best of luck and don’t over do it the first couple days. God bless.

What did the surgeon give you that you were numb for three days?! Sounds kinda nice, haha.

I had the procedure done this morning, I’m guessing they got started 8:30ish. My lips/mouth was numb 'till around 1 this afternoon. There’s no pain, just a little discomfort where the most impacted tooth was, I guess they had to do a little more digging for that one. If anything I feel worst from the effects of not eating anything solid today.
