I have noticed this pass little while my pray life/adoration time has dwindled. Then, work became so busy I would just go to work and come home exhausted to not to anything.
I starting spending too much time surfing the internet. I guess it was my way of unwinding after work but I would then get to sleep late.
The last straw is I have not been to the gym in almost 2 weeks, which for me is a bad sign because it is a good stress relief and being single with no kids I have ample time for the gym.
I went for coffee with a really good Catholic friend last night. She is really uplifting and it hit me how I am going down the wrong track. As we talked, I realized, life can be more joyful.
I also realized that
a-) Either God has putting certain things in my path he wants me to bring to His light
or b-) The devil is attacking me and I need to run back to God
So, I guess my question is, what are tips that people have used to get out of ruts. And how do you handle the BIG issues that even though you are comfortable in prayer, you just are scared to bring to God
