I know that God loves me even when I make a lot of misdeeds, but I often tend to get stuck in scrupulosity. I am still burdened on the following things:
- Whether to consider some of my schoolmates in high school and college as friends despite not frequently being in gatherings with them, whether inside or outside of academic functions. It’s like I should stay only with my family and never leave that “zone” anymore.
- Being undeserving of the “riches” that the “best” of my peers have because of my past sins, as in the cleaner the slate, the more respected I am in society, even though my past should not matter anymore.
- People who still know me by the worst things I’ve done to them, even as early as childhood (going as far as to try to impede me in my quest for serving God and my fellow man). But I want to reconcile with them as quick as possible.
