I have a occult related item that i didn’t realize is related to wicca and was wondering how to get rid of it. It’s a athame with a unicorn head on it. But found it on a site related to witchcraft and was wondering how to get rid of it.

Any way you want to… Burn it, bury it, throw it in the trash… just get it out of your life.

My dad had this book and the cover looked satanic, so he burned it whilst praying, he believed it could contain spirits, so say a latin prayer of deliverance whilst you get rid of it to protect yourself.

I’m not sure how you’d get rid of an athame, but in general I prefer to destroy such occult items in some way so as to remove the possibility of someone ever finding them intact.

The athame would be very difficult for you to dispose yourself and could pose a risk to physical injury trying to destroy the athame. If you live in America then The St Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling in Ottumwa, Iowa do accept such items. You will need to notify them by email first before sending the occult item. Below is their website and also a PDF file on destroying cursed/occult items. I hope this is helpful to you.

The St. Padre Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling [SPCDC] is an outreach apostolate of the Oblates and Missioner of St. Michael (OMSM). The SPCDC was founded in 2003 as an outgrowth of the general Spiritual Warfare and Deliverance ministry that the OMSM began in 1993.

It must be flung into the fiery depths of Mount Doom…Or nuke it from orbit, it’s the only way to be sure!
