Prayer to St. Joseph for Success in Work

Glorious St. Joseph, model of all those who are
devoted to labor, obtain for me the grace to work
conscientiously, putting the call of duty above
my many sins; to work with thankfulness and joy,
considering it an honor to employ and develop,
by means of labor, the gifts received from God;
to work with order, peace, prudence and patience,
never surrendering to weariness or difficulties;
to work, above all, with purity of intention, and
with detachment from self, having always death
before my eyes and the account which I must
render of time lost, of talents wasted, of good
omitted, of vain complacency in success so
fatal to the work of God.
All for Jesus,
all for Mary,
all after thy example,
O Patriarch Joseph.
Such shall be my motto in life and death.
Amen.
Prayer to Our Mother of Perpetual Help
Dear Mother Mary,
We approach you with submissive and humble hearts, because
we have a child-like confidence in your intercession and goodness.
We beseech you to assist anon1234567 in his/her need to make
enough money to attend graduate school. We believe, dear Mother,
that you are not only rich and bountiful, but kind and generous to all
your children. We thank you, Dear Lady, through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
Prayer for True Friends
Loving and wise Father, I pray for the light of Your wisdom
and guidance as I patiently search for true friendships.
Bless me Lord, that I may grow in respect for others, kindness,
sincerity, and generosity. Teach me also to become less
selfish and more forgiving of others. We ask this through
Jesus Christ Our Lord, who was abandoned by all of His
apostles (except for the Beloved Disciple) as He died
a brutal death on the cross. Amen.
