How did you get to ‘know’ your favorite Saint/Saints? Was it through a certain petition,a book or movie of their life ?Did a parent teach you about them?Did you choose your favorite Saints because you could identify with them as a person?
God bless 🙂

My confirmation saint is St. Therese of Lisieux. She was quite popular in my Catholic home and school when I was growing up. My mother had a devotion to her, and I read her autobiography as a child. For contemporary people with busy lives, the “little way” is quite appealing.
The best ways to get to know your saint is by reading about them and by prayer to them.

My mother’s favorite Saint too 🙂 She talks of her like a dear friend.
When my brothers, sisters and I were all young my mum read "The Little Flowers of St Francis "to us,so it felt like a real glimps into his life ,loving his humour and devoutness. He feels like a real friend ,and his friends also
St Clare,St Anthony.

St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, read her biography, Praise of His Glory, and fell in love with her.
