Another way to look at it, is why let themself be hurt by a pronoun? I mean, if it’s such a minor thing and all.

I don’t know, it seems rather rude for somebody to expect people to call them a sex other than what they are. Let them conjure up their own fantasies, but don’t expect the entire population to take them up on it.
My mother ( who is very anti transgender by the way) taught us Pawloski kids to call people what they want or ask to be called. That is a time old trandition of manners. Its simple and easy. You obviously are not on the tg side of things. So I’m not going to convince you of much. Just think of it as using manners something that used to be universal in our culture, and are just about all but gone. Us transgendered are not going away.
If my mother were to have said the exact same thing, someone’s gender would have had absolutely nothing to do with that. She would had been talking about proper names, as gender should be quite apparent. So tg won’t go away, what else is new?
No it’s you address someone as they would like to be addressed. Other examples is one never calls my mother “Mrs” , you call some of my siblings by their middle names, etc.Don’t call yourself oldfashioned if you don’t agree because you are not in favor of oldfashioned manners.
Old-fashioned manners had absolutely nothing to do with calling people a gender which they apparently are not. It’s also old-fashioned manners, not that I said I was old-fashioned in the first place, to not help people along in deceiving themselves or anybody else. Honesty is the best policy, you know, that old adage. If somebody wants to be called a name, other than what their name is, well fine, I guess, but that’s not quite the same as expecting people to call us by a sex than apparently we are not.

I know that I was meant to be a billionaire, I feel as if I was born that way and knew that I could be happy until I was one.

I was thinking of doing that. But theres lots of other things Id have to redo, mainly with friends I have made. With a lack of time on the net I try to make the most of what I have. But I do see your point.
The underlining idea is that you can remove the word “billionaire” and insert anything you wish… uhmpa lumpa, bearded lady, pladapus, dodo bird… what ever and the underlying reason or logic will still never make sense. Making a change of this nature is still to fulfill some narsistic fantascy about what you think you need in life to be happy with your life. A flawed premesis. The happiness comes from within, not outside to inward.

Do you have absolute truth or could some of your opinions be just that, some of your opinions?Atitudes shown in the last 2 posts of this thread before mine are the reason that I just go to Mass for my Sunday obligation of worship and generally don’t associate with others around me much anymore.
