The Oxford University study suggests 1,500 girls are “missing” from the birth statistics in England and Wales from 1990 to 2005.
An estimated seven million girls have gone missing from India’s population over the last 25 years.
Some of them will have been killed after they were born, or allowed to die within their first few days. But most of them will have been aborted.

It is shocking to see these numbers. This is a blow against life and females. Seven million females missing in India? That doesn’t take into account the number of women living in India who probably live an existence similar to death. When will Indian women living in more developed countries break from the deathly cultural tradition of over valuing males?

That always makes me question certain radical feminists who claim that they are for women and girls but in the same breath in the name of Women’s “rights” and “choice” they are permitted to kill off their own sex. I’m thinking…do these women think that the only way to get ahead is to kill other women? Oddly…men do the opposite. The encourage women to give birth to more males making the male:female ratio imbalanced and easier to subjugate the smaller female population with the “us vs them” mentality. I’m thinking now due to ultra sound and abortion on demand, this makes it easier for sex selectuve practices to take place and make the gap even larger

I wonder about the pschology behind such crazy choices.

And yes - abortion makes the craziness easier. Although - I’ve read that some kill their baby girls shortly after a full term birth. At any rate - it is all murder.😦

Maybe they were all “raptured” away and we are the ones “Left Behind…”😃 Seriously though WHAT has theWomen’s movement done about that? Nothing- because they are so tied to the abortion industry that basic human rights are no longer important- abortion has become their god and their most important prop- the west is just as bad-though not as overt as the east -yet. Women are denigrated daily in the media becoming once more men’s playthings and servants(watch any ad on TV or music video and yyou will see what I mean)and our daughters just eat it up as cool!! SICK!

I had heard this about China rather than India.
It’s both but In India it’s persuasive and not mandatory like in China where it is law. I remember reading in My geography book about this initiative by the government to convince women inIndia “promise” not to have more children. India like China traditionally in the past have had a very positive view of children even though they still had the male preference. A big family was a fertile blessed family however somwhere down the line this perception changed with the dynamic of the industrialization. Children have gone from a useful resource to useless “crumbsnatchers” Mao, albiet misguided had encouraged a huge boom in the Chinese population under his communist dream of all people maing a self sustaining agricultural nation through farming. it failed when capitalism beat communist economics and the Population in fact had almost no agricultural jobs like Mao intended. Instead they use their large population to make cheap factory made goods for very little pay. The communist system is not actually communist but is in fact an authoritarian system that dictates every facet of their lives in order to maintain “order” that includes determining how many children people can have for them and punishing those who do not comply. India is a democratic country and the pressure to limit population is social pressure, much like In the United States.
However the difference being that ppl abort their children simply for existing and the sex is inconsequential ergo it is recorded that women are 51% of the US population.
