If a woman/ a man who is married and has kids of a little ages has kids with another man/woman, whom does she/he stay with, his spouse or the other person. I have heard from a high positionated priest of the Instituto Cristo Rey a lecture that stated that cohabitation with who isn’t the spouse is permetted when the kids have to be educated.

There is no reason in that. It’s complete nonsense. Of course one should not leave their spouse for another man or woman in order to “educate” children. I suspect you misunderstood what was said.

maybe I did, I myself I am the son of a father who left me for another “family”. Well, what I asked is, one should remain with his legitimate spouse, not with another man whom I had a kid, am I not right?

Perhaps you should ask the priest who gave the lecture to discuss it with you. Without details, we have only speculation.

I will speculate that perhaps what the priest was discussing was this CDF document, in light of the current synod.

Perhaps he was referring to those who live in continence due to obligations towards children, which is in this paragraph of the document:

The faithful who persist in such a situation may receive holy communion only after obtaining sacramental absolution, which may be given only to those who, repenting of having broken the sign of the covenant and of fidelity to Christ, are sincerely ready to undertake a way of life that is no longer in contradiction to the indissolubility of marriage. This means, in practice, that when for serious reasons, for example, for the children’s upbringing, a man and a woman cannot satisfy the obligation to separate, they “take on themselves the duty to live in complete continence, that is, by abstinence from the acts proper to married couples.” In such a case they may receive holy communion as long as they respect the obligation to avoid giving scandal.

Correct. Although you would still be responsible for doing what you could to care for your child, you should not leave your legitimate spouse to live with the other child’s mother or father for that reason.

For Archedreamer: to clarify, this document is discussing a situation in which a couple has divorced and one spouse remarried and had children with someone other than the first spouse, and is unable to obtain a decree of nullity.

What the Church teaches is that if a husband has a child with another woman while still with his wife, he should *not *leave his wife for the other woman; however, he *is *responsible for assuring that his child is properly cared for and educated.

I am sorry that your father did not do the right thing regarding you and your mother.
